April is Financial Literacy Month! We are committed to helping students develop vital skills like budgeting and saving early in life. 💸
Understanding how money works empowers students to make informed financial choices in the future. Let’s support them on this important journey!

Today’s Alumni Spotlight is on Bridget Good, BHS Class of 2016! 🎓✨
Bridget studied apparel merchandising at Iowa State University and interned for celebrity stylist Micaela Erlanger—styling stars like Lucy Hale!
But, Bridget missed the small-town charm of Iowa. After falling in love with downtown Ames, she opened her very own storefront: b.e.good, a boutique named after her high school nickname.
We’re so proud of this alumnus living her passion and inspiring others along the way! 💚

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: The Iowa DOT notified us of upcoming road construction that may affect travel between Boone and Ogden near R-18/L Ave. and US 30.
🚧 Starting Monday, April 7, crews will begin work to relocate the connection between US 30 and Old 30, shifting access further east.
🚧 Expect construction activity north of the westbound lanes, including occasional right lane closures.
🚧 While signals won’t be installed on Old 30 immediately, there will eventually be traffic signals and a single alternating lane through the new connection area.
Please plan extra time for transportation and stay alert for signage and changing traffic patterns.

Happy School Librarian Day to Sydney Schuler, our outstanding teacher librarian, and Jess Baber, Robin Eggett, Jenny Albaugh, and Joan Aspengren, our media associates! 📚❤️
Your efforts shape future scholars by helping them conduct research for class projects and develop a love for reading. We’re grateful for all you do!
