Get ready to shine at the upcoming Franklin Elementary Glow Stick Party! ✨

Jasmine Lopez, a senior at Boone High School, had an outstanding March filled with achievements! 🎓

She presented her research, “Investigating the Host Cell Factors that Contribute to Septu Activation,” at the Western Iowa Science Fair, where she earned 4th place in the Biological category.

Jasmine also received a special award from the In-Vitro Biology Society, which included scholarship money, membership, and access to the academic journal, “The In-Vitro Report.” In addition, she was recognized with the Air Force Achievement Award.

At the State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa, held at Iowa State University, Jasmine earned 2nd place in the Biochemistry category and received an honorable mention for her seminar presentation. She was awarded an all-expenses-paid, two-week science internship in London this July for the London International Youth Science Forum!

Congratulations, Jasmine—you have a bright future ahead! ✨
