Medications will be sent home with your students on the last full day of school (June 2nd). If your student is on a daily medication, the nurse will keep the medication for the last day of school. Emergency medications will be sent home with the students on the last day (June 3rd).

Franklin Families: With our recent schedule changes due to weather, there's a conflict with finals and our high school helpers are no longer able to help with field day. So, we're looking for some volunteers to help with field day on June 2. Volunteers must be on the approved list and check in at the office before their scheduled shift. * Field day will be moved to Monday, June 2. There will be some water activities at field day. Students do not need swimsuits but we'd recommend sending a change of clothes for those that get really soaked.
* Students do not need to wear swimming suits to school on their assigned day but should bring suits, towels, sunscreen, etc. to school with them.
Due to the predicted weather this week, we have some date changes:
* 3rd grade, Nolan & Griffin will go to the Boone pool on Wednesday, May 28.
* 4th grade, Minnehan, Elsner & Caruth will go to the Boone pool on Thursday, May 29.

Franklin Families: Due to the predicted high winds and low overnight temperatures on Friday, our Franklin field day has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 29. We want to make sure our students can enjoy the field day activities and this Friday just doesn't look like the best day. Thanks for being flexible as we navigate our changing Iowa weather!
BIG thanks to our elementary PTO for celebrating our teachers last week! They spoiled us with snacks, coffee and lunch! We're so lucky to have a group that supports our teachers and staff! It's a lot of work to coordinate all of the things they do to support our staff and students and we appreciate them so much!
