Just a reminder to sign up for an individual back to school conference with your student's homeroom teacher. The following documents were sent out previously but we wanted to re-share them for those that may still need to sign up. Franklin Families,
The links to sign up for back to school conferences are attached! Select your child's homeroom teacher, select a time that works, complete the information and make sure your Google calendar is set to Central standard time. You'll need to sign up for a separate conference for each of your students. Please contact the Franklin office if you have any questions or need assistance getting signed up. 4th Grade Families,
We're excited to have Erin Soderberg Downing visit Franklin and meet with our 4th grade students on September 3. Below is a link with more information about Erin and an opportunity to purchase her newest book, What Happened Then. Copies of the book will be signed by the author and delivered to classrooms on the day of her visit. Big thanks to Mrs. Schuler for her work to coordinate this visit. It's a great opportunity for our 4th graders to learn about being an author.

School Start/End Times: Franklin Families - A post was shared on the BCSD Facebook page yesterday with incorrect start/end times. Here are the corrected times for Franklin for the 25-26 school year: Breakfast: 7:40-8:10 Start time: 8:10 Dismissal: 3:10 A back to school letter will be shared with families next week which contains all of the back to school information, along with details for the upcoming school year.

Congratulations to our Franklin students who had their poster designs selected for awards by the Boone County Soil & Water Conservation District! We're proud of the quality work and creativity our students put into their poster designs! Also, big thanks to the Soil & Water Conservation District for their community partnership and support of our schools.

At our final character assembly of the year, some students were recognized for their creativity and others were recognized for doing a great job demonstrating all 9 of our character traits!

Congratulations to our students who received Character Strong certificates at lunch last Friday! They were our last ones for the school year!

That's a wrap on the 24-25 school year! Thanks to all of our Franklin families for trusting us with your children and partnering with us for a successful school year. Good luck to our amazing group of 4th graders! We miss them already but know they'll continue to shine in middle school. Have a great summer!

Reminder: Tomorrow is the last day of school and it's an early release day. Franklin students will be dismissed at 1:05 for summer break! 😎☀️

We had a great field day today! Big thanks to Mr. Hilmer for all of his work and organization to make a day of fun and competitive activities. Also a big thanks to all our Franklin staff, parent volunteers and high school volunteers who helped make it a great day for our kids! We couldn't have done it without all of your help! We had several school records broken today: Jauvy H. - 2nd grade 25 yard sprint (4.75) Theo M. - 3rd grade long jump (11' 5") Theo M. - 3rd grade distance run (1:08) Aubree E. - 3rd grade long jump (9' 7") Arley H. - 4th grade long jump (9' 7") Congratulations to all of our students who broke records today!

The block party sponsored by our elementary PTO is tonight! 4:30 - 6:30 at Ledges. Hope to see lots of our families there!

Reminder: Please return all Franklin library books as soon as possible so we can get them all re-shelved for the summer. Thanks!
