✅ The first Boone EDGE intern at Lane Trailers is still an employee, nearly 4 years later!
✅ 40% of Lane Trailers' employees were a part of the EDGE program.
✅ At Lane Trailers, Boone student interns gain on-the-job experience in welding, drafting, assembly, and service.
These opportunities are changing lives and creating a strong pipeline of skilled professionals in our community!

This week, Franklin Elementary is hosting the annual Fine Arts Showcases! 🎵🎨
Third grade students and their families can visit the showcase on Tuesday, March 4, beginning at 6:00pm. The showcase will be open to 2nd grade families on Thursday, March 6, at 6:00pm.
REMINDER for Boone High School students! 📢
BHS students need to take the following steps when they return to school after being absent.
1. Email teachers.
2. Check Google Classroom.
3. Schedule themselves into WIN time.
4. Arrange before/after school make-up.

We are excited to announce that Tim Pezzetti has been named as our next 7th-12th grade activities director.
Pezzetti has more than 20 years of experience in this administrative role, most recently serving as the activities director for Bolivar High School in Missouri.
“I am truly honored to join the team in the Boone Community School District,” Pezzetti said. “I cannot wait to start working with the great people I met while interviewing, along with the rest of the Toreadors who I have yet to meet. It quickly became clear that the community support is outstanding here, and the activities and athletics department is ready to work together to achieve the success that we are all seeking.”
Pezzetti will officially begin serving as BCSD’s activities director on July 21, 2025.
