Whole Grains are an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, protein and fiber. You can always count on our program to deliver nutrient rich menu items!

Studies show that students who eat school breakfast reach higher levels of achievement in math and reading, score higher on standardized tests and have better concentration and memory! BCSD was announced as a grant winner for the Iowa Governor's STEM Council STEM BEST HD Model. We will be working with local partners in advanced manufacturing to create and expand courses and projects for Boone Middle and High School students to learn about related careers

If you’re looking for something to do on Friday night, we’d love to see you at the fashion show tomorrow night! Brenna Vote and Sarah Fisher have been working with Modern Dress through their EDGE project to plan a fashion show and pop-up boutique this week for prom. There will be 20+ students walking the runway. Starts at 6:30. Ticket Spicket is available or $10.00 for school age and up! All money goes to after prom.
