Many museums, zoos, and historical sites offer virtual tours and experiences. We encourage you to take your child on virtual field trips to places they find fascinating. Did you know? Boone CSD is dedicated to supporting academic rigor and expanding learning opportunities! 📚 One way we achieve this is our partnership with Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) to offer college courses to our students while they are enrolled in high school. During the 2022-23 school year, we are thrilled to share that 243 students earned a total of 2,531 credits at DMACC. This translates to an incredible value of $450,518! 💰 We are immensely proud of our students' hard work and commitment to their education. These college credits not only provide a head start in their academic journey, but also valuable real-world experiences. 🌟📚

Franklin Elementary students are language experts in training! They used Duolingo to explore all sorts of languages from around the world. Then, our teachers asked them which language they wanted to learn the most. Spanish won by a landslide! 🇪🇸 Students also chose to study: ✅ French ✅ German ✅ Japanese ✅ Chinese ✅ And many others!

Did you know? The Boone High School graduation rate is an impressive 97.59%! 🎓That’s nearly 8% higher than the state average graduation rate of 89.9%. We are committed to ensuring ALL students receive the support they need to achieve success after high school.
