1️⃣ Explore the Local Library: Encourage your child to discover new books and participate in summer reading programs. Reading boosts their vocabulary and fuels their imagination!
2️⃣ Engage in Outdoor Science: Take advantage of nature's classroom! Observe plants, insects, and wildlife, and encourage your child to ask questions. Learning can be fun when it happens in the great outdoors!

Exciting News! 🎉 Boone Middle School has been selected as one of three Iowa schools to receive a state-of-the-art $100,000 DON'T QUIT! Fitness Center! Governor Kim Reynolds and Jake Steinfeld, Chairman of the National Foundation for Governors' Fitness Councils, announced this fantastic news.
The DON'T QUIT! Campaign recognizes schools that lead the way in promoting physical fitness among students. Alongside Aldo Leopold Intermediate School and Susan Clark Junior High School, Boone Middle School stands out as one of Iowa's most outstanding schools in this regard.
The DON'T QUIT! Fitness Center at Boone Middle School, as well as at the other winning schools, will be financed through public/private partnerships, without relying on taxpayer dollars or state funding. Thanks to Fit Supply, the facility will be equipped with cutting-edge exercise equipment, offering a wide range of physical activities for our students.
The unveiling of the DON'T QUIT! Fitness Center at Boone Middle School will take place during a ribbon-cutting ceremony in October. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting event!
